Let me introduce you to this great piece of Access Equipment that will certainly turn heads. It is new to the market and we couldn’t be happier to announce its arrival.
Our aim was to see if we could find a way of improving Access onto a Scaffold at low levels. We started off the design process by looking to combine the advantages of a Podium with the benefits of a Scaffold Tower and we finished up with a very unique solution that we named, The Pod Tower.
Combining a Podium and a Scaffold Tower for a Safer and more Efficient Solution
Like a Podium, it comes with steps, a waist height guardrail, and is accessed via a gate, but, unlike a standard Podium, it offers more levels and has a much larger and safer working area to carry out your tasks on.
The wide and sturdy steps combined with a simple gate give you a safe route on to the platform and the waist height guardrail ensures maximum all-round clearance when working at height.

The Pod Tower measures in at 1850 x 755mm wide. This enables it to fit through doorways and negotiate tight corners. It weighs in at 66kgs and will comfortably handle 200kgs.
Podium platform heights
0.35m, 0.6m, 0.85m, 1.1m, and 1.35m.
When using the Podium, your working heights will range from 2.35 – 3.35m, this will cover most everyday tasks. Different cut outs in both sides of the Base Frame enable unique low-level access. Overall, it is easy to build, quick to change Levels, lightweight, mobile, and will help increase productivity whilst reducing fatigue through quicker access and egress. Add on the hook-on storage box and you have yourself a very efficient and safe workstation.
Scaffold platform heights
1.6m, 1.85m, 2.1m, and 2.35m.
In addition to being a super-sized 5 Level Podium, it can also be turned into a medium level scaffold that offers 4 more additional heights (extension pack required), increasing the working height range to 3.6 – 4.4m. Access to Levels 6 – 9 is via the traditional trapdoor method, and enables the user to help gain access for those occasional higher tasks without the cost and hassle of ordering in different Equipment.
It also comes supplied with a handy set of Fold out Outriggers that increase the Tower’s footprint and stability.

Unique Features of the Pod Tower
The Podium has a Gate at each end.
Simple Podium assembly with only four parts to connect.
You get a Base frame, 2 Guardrails, and a Platform.
The Guardrails are a combination of a handrail, kneerail, and a gate all joined together.
No single poles or fittings to lose. All single poles have been upgraded to Guardrails and Mini Guardrails.
Telescopic Height Adjustment for the guardrails with on/off spring-loaded catches.
Easy to Use, Easy to Move!
When changing rooms, simply slide the Handrails down to exit the doorway then just slide them back up again. The Handrail is fitted with a special mechanism that enables two Telescopic poles to be slid at the same time.
The Pod Tower is great for handling long lengths of material as no part of the Pod Tower protrudes above the handrail. It also flats packs into a Large Estate Car / small L2 van or fits upright in a large van.
